Three young women from Hong Kong, Chile and Uganda are at the centre of a seismic political transition. Dear Future Children follows Rayen’s demonstrations for social justice in Chile, Pepper’s fight for democracy in Hong Kong, and Hilda’s advocacy for the devastating effects of climate change in Uganda. The film questions how and why these women persist in their fight against indomitable challenges, and explores the perilous effect their activism takes on their personal lives. It is a film dedicated to the next generation, made and voiced through the next generation.
