Attempting to inherit the broken pieces of a culture defined by partition, a son attempts to make ‘sarson ka saag’, a popular Punjabi delicacy. He recreates his mother’s movements, and through his observations of her labouring over the kitchen slab, traces this tradition through audio notes and fragments of fond memories.
