Dante Katha, meaning oral storytellingí in Nepali, is an experimental mixed-media retelling of folktales, set in the landscapes of Darjeeling. Told by a young girl whose brother has recently gone missing, the film showcases her encounters with various mysterious characters.

LAB Collective is based in Darjeeling working together with local youth, archiving oral history through film. We contemplate experimentation and abstraction as a method to combine mediums, connect people and make meaningful work.
