Inspired by an image of a father and son travelling on a bike through a foggy winter morning, Dhuin tells the story of Pankaj, a small-town theatre actor with dreams of making it big in Mumbai. But faced with obligations to his family, who are in deep financial distress as a consequence of the lockdown, Pankaj must choose between his dreams and making the responsible choice.

Achal Mishra
Achal Mishra is a 26-year-old filmmaker and photographer from Darbhanga, Bihar. His debut feature film, Gamak Ghar (2019), premiered at the 21st Mumbai Film Festival, and was awarded the Manish Acharya Award for New Voices in Indian Cinema. Dhuin is his second film.
